The elliptical gear flow meter is a precision meter used to measure the flow of liquid. It is a direct-reading accumulative meter. It is a volumetric flow meter that measures the sum of the liquid flows through the pipeline. The product uses two kinds of counting mechanisms: mechanical display head and electronic display meter. The display head has the functions of displaying cumulative flow, instantaneous flow and zero return, which can realize on-site display and remote transmission control.
Precautions for use:

1. Thoroughly clean the pipeline before installation and install a filter in front of the flowmeter to prevent debris from entering the flowmeter. When the liquid to be tested contains gas, an air separator should be installed.

2. It should be noted that the elliptical gear shaft of the flowmeter must be placed in a horizontal position, that is, the dial is perpendicular to the ground plane. Regulate the flow and start, the closed valves should be installed at the inlet and outlet of the flowmeter.

3. The arrow on the flowmeter housing should be aligned with the flow direction of the liquid being installed.

4. For the pipeline of continuous flow, the horizontal pipeline for installing the flowmeter should be equipped with a bypass valve for regular cleaning and overhaul. The flow meter on the vertical pipe should be installed in the bypass pipe to prevent debris from falling into the instrument.

7. When starting or stopping, the opening and closing valve should be slow to prevent sudden impact and should prevent backflow.
