Founded in 1949 by Zuoyan Zhu, the company initially operated as a hardware workshop specializing in manufacturing parts such as hutch ark and lock components. In 1970, Dinghuan Zhu's son, Chongqin Zhu, established an individual hardware factory focused on aluminum and copper casting, as well as bicycle spare parts.
In 2002, Chongqin Zhu's son, Wencheng Zhu, and Changxi Sun opened a garage that specialized in car and bus repair services while also offering coach component development support. The company continued to grow, and in 2006, the Ruian Passenger Car Accessories Sales Center was established. In 2008, Ruian Keno Trade Co., Ltd. was founded.
By 2010, Ruian WBACC Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was launched, marking the official start of the WBACC brand. The company now focuses on household, car, and industrial air treatment solutions. Over the years, WBACC has expanded through acquisitions and partnerships, including Tanosen Filter in 2012, Hno Hardware in 2013, and Ningbo Weiyake Auto Parts Co., Ltd. in 2014.
