Mobile phone battery maintenance ten notes

With the increasing penetration rate of mobile services, China has reached an average of 64.4 mobile phones per 100 people. In coastal developed cities such as Shanghai and Beijing, there are 1.2 mobile phones per person. Although mobile phones have become a necessity for most people, do you really know how to maintain your mobile phone battery ? Doing the following ten points will extend the life of your mobile phone battery.

â–  If the newly purchased mobile phone battery is a lithium battery, the first 3-5 times of charging is generally called the adjustment period, and should be charged for more than 14 hours to ensure full activation of lithium ion activity. Lithium-ion batteries have no memory effect, but they have a strong inertia and should be fully activated to ensure optimal performance in future use.

â–  Before the battery was shipped, the manufacturer activated it and pre-charged it, so the new battery that was bought had surplus power. Generally, the manufacturer will charge the battery according to the adjustment period, but the standby is still seriously insufficient. It is assumed that the purchased battery is genuine. In this case, the adjustment period should be extended and then 3-5 times full charge and discharge.

â–  Fast charger charging. When the indicator light changes, it usually only indicates that it is full of 90%. It is not recommended. The charger will automatically change the battery to fill it with slow charging. It is best to use the battery after it is fully charged, otherwise it will shorten the use time.

■ Before charging, the lithium battery does not need to be discharged specially. If it is not properly discharged, it will damage the battery. When charging, try to charge slowly, reduce the fast charging mode, and do not exceed 24 hours. After the battery is 3-5 times fully charged and discharged, its internal chemicals will be “activated” to achieve the best results.

â–  Please use the charger of the original or reputable brand. For lithium batteries, use the lithium battery charger and follow the instructions. Otherwise, the battery may be damaged or even dangerous.

â–  Lithium-ion batteries must use a dedicated charger, otherwise they may not reach saturation and affect their performance. After charging, avoid placing it on the charger for more than 12 hours. When not in use for a long time, separate the battery from the mobile phone.

â–  There are many users who often turn their phones on while charging, which can actually hurt the life of the phone. Because the circuit board of the mobile phone will heat up during the charging process, if there is an external telephone, an instantaneous return current may occur, which may cause damage to the internal parts of the mobile phone.

â–  The life of the battery depends on the number of repeated charge and discharge cycles, so try to avoid charging when the battery has excess power, which will shorten the battery life. If the phone is turned off for more than 7 days, the battery of the phone should be completely discharged and fully charged before use.

â–  The mobile phone battery has self-discharge. When not in use, the nickel-hydrogen battery will discharge about 1% of the remaining capacity every day. The lithium battery will discharge 0.2%-0.3% every day. When charging the battery, try to use a dedicated socket. Do not share the charger with a home appliance such as a TV.

â–  Do not expose the battery to high temperatures or cold weather. Do not leave your phone in the car during the sun or the sun, or take it in the air-conditioned room and put it in a cool place. When charging, it is normal for the battery to have a little heat, but it should not be allowed to be in a high temperature environment. To avoid this, it's best to charge at room temperature and don't cover anything on your phone.
