On June 6, Dutch offshore and ship crane expert Kenz Cranes successfully delivered a complete set of three identical jib cranes to BP. The single crane with a lifting capacity of 55 tons will be installed on BP's two new Clair Ridge platforms.
According to reports, Kenz Cranes' order is from EPC contractor Amec of the platform. The delivered crane will be shipped to a South Korean shipyard for final installation on the platform.
