April 2011 Overview of Production and Sales of Vehicle Engine Industry

In April 2011, the country’s auto production was 1.5353 million, a month-on-month decrease of 15.98%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.85%, and sales of 1.5520 million vehicles, a decrease of 15.12% compared with the previous period and a year-on-year decrease of 0.25%. In April 2011, the production and sales of diesel engines in China completed 337,400 units and 366,600 units respectively.
