Bumper

The bumpers are designed to protect the hood, trunk, grill, fuel, exhaust and cooling system. A bumper is a shield that is usually made of steel, aluminum, rubber or plastic. It absorbs shocks from car accidents. The standard requires protection in the region 16 to 20 inches above the road surface.Bumpers protect important equipment on automobiles such as headlights, taillights, hood and exhaust and cooling systems. These components are all expensive to replace, and a bumper can eliminate or reduce the costs of repairing them. These traits allow a bumper to line up flush with an opposing bumper in order to absorb any impact and maintain stability.
