Therefore, China's rubber industry urgently needs to use high technology to improve the quality of its operations.
Wang Hongli, deputy director of the Zhejiang Science and Technology Department, who attended the information conference, also pointed out that at present, the average profit rate of Zhejiang's rubber companies is less than 5%, and over 98% of rubber enterprises in the province are small and medium-sized enterprises. Enterprises generally face raw material price increases and other difficulties. Only by mastering and using good and new technologies can we create wealth in order to be accepted by the market.
According to reports, the current high-tech fields related to the rubber industry include: information and communication technologies, biotechnology, new material technologies, optical and mechanical integration technologies, and radiation technologies. Fan Rende pointed out that the main high-tech technologies that the rubber industry needs to overcome are the industrialization and application technologies of Eucommia rubber, the development and application of dandelion rubber, the industrialization of green tires, the development and application of nano-modified fibers, and the production of automatic rubber shoes.
