The grim reality that some high-end products rely heavily on foreign imports is not commensurate with the rapid development of China's economy and huge market potential. The chemical industry will follow the key direction of the development of strategic emerging industries determined by the State Council, proceed from the characteristics of the industry and the industrial foundation, and concentrate on the development of a number of key technologies supporting the development of strategic emerging industries in the petrochemical industry, such as special engineering plastics, film materials, and specialties. Advanced technologies for the preparation of high-end materials such as fiber and resin-based composite materials and fluorosilicone new materials, including biochemical products, electronic chemicals, high-performance coatings, key intermediates, and strategies for energy conservation and environmental protection, new energy, bioenergy, and high-end equipment manufacturing The high-end fine chemical product preparation technologies supported by the emerging industries are focused on cultivating new economic growth points in the industry.
