Here's what Steve Redick had to say:
I stopped by the scene on Tuesday (9129 Washington Avenue in Brookfield)… when I finally arrived, there wasn’t much left to see… mostly just rig shots.

These photos give a good sense of the response and the scale of the incident. It looks like multiple departments were involved, including North Riverside FD, Lagrange Park FD, and others. The presence of an E-ONE aerial ladder truck suggests that the fire was significant enough to require elevated firefighting efforts. While Steve didn't get to see much of the actual fire, the images show the equipment and the level of preparedness from the responding units.
