The 2017 Green Car Tire Certification 2017 version has been officially released and implemented. This voluntary certification project has been officially renamed as “Car Green Tire Certification†from the “Car Green Tire Certification†and the English name is “China-Green Tyre Rating Assessmentâ€. , abbreviated as "C-GTRA"
It is reported that the 2017 version of the "Car Green Tire Evaluation Regulations" was formally submitted to the National Certification and Accreditation Administration for official filing on May 15, 2017 by the Tianjin Huacheng Certification Center, and will be officially released from now on. Since the car green tire certification project was officially released and implemented in 2016, two batches of certification results have been issued, and five companies have participated in the certification of seven product specifications, which has caused widespread concern in the industry. The renaming of the automotive green tire certification program and the revision of the regulations are mainly due to the guidance of the CNCA on the work of C-GTRA and the further understanding of the connotation of the green tire certification project by C-GTRA.
The changes in the contents of the Regulations are mainly concentrated on the following two points:
1. Evaluation system.
The “Temperature Tolerance†project was removed and the detection of “polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons†(toxic substances) was added. The scoring method abandons the classification of the old version of "ABCDE". According to the "Car Green Tire Evaluation Procedures", the scores of the performance indicators of each sub-item are calculated by linear interpolation method, and the performance weights of each sub-item are weighted to calculate the total score, according to all tests. For the purpose of product certification, the evaluation results of automotive green tire certification should be easy to understand, and the evaluation results should be able to make consumers clear at a glance, otherwise it will deviate from the purpose of serving consumers. The C-GTRA Working Group fully considered the role of the bridge for the green tire certification project. According to the industry development level and the consumer market, the evaluation system was revised. The 2016 version of the professional program was changed to the “Green Line Passing Systemâ€. It is divided into two levels by the intuitive and easy-to-understand “passing lineâ€: green products – high-performance products, non-green products – general performance and even low-performance products, helping consumers to easily distinguish between purchases. The quality of tire products is high and low.
2. Add "certificate extension plan".
After the certification client has obtained the certificate, it can apply for the certificate extension to the Tianjin Huacheng Certification Center, and provide an expansion plan with the pattern family as the category, and submit it to the certification body for review. After the approval, the certification body issues an expansion plan and expands the certificate according to the expansion plan. The expansion scheme is implemented in accordance with the “most adverse conditions†in accordance with the standard ECE R117.02 “Uniform Provisions on Approving Tire Rolling Noise and Wet Road Adhesion and/or Rolling Resistanceâ€.

China Automotive Green Tire Certification (C-GTRA) is under the guidance and support of the China National Certification and Accreditation Administration. Tianjin Huacheng Certification Center is the certification body, and the National Car Quality Supervision and Inspection Center serves as the testing organization.
