As a result, the small and medium-sized melamine enterprises that have been expecting continuous “big profits” for several years have fallen into a state of high investment and high cost “opening and stopping”, making the domestic melamine market extremely chaotic.
Experts suggest: prudent development, update process It is expected that in 2005 China's total melamine production capacity will increase to 570,000 tons, and the total output will also reach 340,000 tons, while domestic consumption will only be about 250,000 tons. By the end of 2005, the situation of oversupply will become more severe, the global market will also be saturated, and exports will also be blocked. Two years later, it is estimated that there will be 9 domestic manufacturers with more than 30,000 tons/year and 13 factories with 10,000 tons/year or more. The total output of these 22 companies will reach 695,000 tons/year, which means that More than 60 SMEs will face a complete shutdown, and some companies under construction will also be put on hold. Therefore, experts in the industry have warned that it is wise for the manufacturers of melamine plants to be built after “thinking and then constructing”, and the relevant state departments should carefully examine and approve the melamine re-building projects.
At the same time, melamine enterprises should actively adopt advanced technologies and take the path of large-scale, urea cogeneration to improve the competitiveness of enterprises.
Although there were only 26 melamine manufacturers in foreign countries in 2004, the total output reached 954,000 tons. These enterprises have advanced technology, high quality, low cost and obvious profit advantages. The main source of melamine is urea. The melamine production process of urea enterprises can directly introduce non-granulated urea liquor for production. The waste gas and waste liquid produced can be recycled to the urea plant. This not only reduces the cost and the consumption, but also solves the pollution problem. In order to increase the resistance to risk, large-scale enterprises must also select downstream products with good market prospects and high added value for melamine processing. At present, many manufacturers have established projects such as melamine plastics, triamine foams, and light auxiliaries, which have brought good economic benefits.
