Renault Automotive will fully enter China through Dongfeng Nissan

Recently, Renault Automobile Chief Executive Carlos Ghosn stated in France that Nissan Motors is preparing for Renault’s final move into the Chinese market. Although not confirmed this year, Nissan’s partners in China have already begun to enter Renault’s required capacity in the future. Build the foundation.

According to Carlos's remarks, since Nissan has a place in the Chinese market, Renault will have a ready supplier and distributor network, a manufacturing base, and a rapid response mechanism after entering China. This is similar to the previous Nissan-Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn's visit to China last year: "We hope that when the time comes, Renault will enter China. In the future, Renault will likely settle in Guangzhou Huadu."

Dongfeng Nissan General Manager Nobuo Toshiaki stated that Dongfeng Nissan will continue to increase its production capacity this year. In addition to tapping its existing capacity potential and building a new second plant, it has started to plan a new plant with a capacity of about 300,000 vehicles. Nissan said that in the next three years, the Nissan-Renault Alliance will build at least one million production bases in China, of which Nissan will account for about 70%, and Renault will account for another 30%.

Renault’s sales target in China exceeded 7,000 in 2009, almost eight times that of 2008. China has become Renault’s important overseas market.
