New smelting dephosphorization technology

Currently, steelmaking techniques are common dephosphorization: large amount of slag converter dephosphorization, dephosphorization slag double, double converter dephosphorization dephosphorization converter and the like, these techniques have achieved good results in the production of dephosphorization, wherein The dephosphorization rate of the double slag method is as high as about 90%. On the one hand, these technologies make it possible to produce low-phosphorus steel and ultra-low-phosphorus steel, and on the other hand, there are disadvantages such as large heat loss in the converter and long smelting cycle. Recently, Pangang has proposed a new converter pretreatment single slag dephosphorization technology that incorporates a composite dephosphorization agent into a converter furnace.

The high-efficiency composite dephosphorization agent used in this technology was independently developed by Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the dephosphorization agent CaO content is 25%~45%, TFe35%~55%, S≤0.08%, P≤0.08%, particle size <50mm, melting point 1280°C .

The experiment was carried out on the 120t top-bottom combined blown converter of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., with high gun position operation in the early stage of smelting, and the average smelting time was 35.17rain. Single experiment converter slag slag material slagging system second groups, each furnace lime were added 4.00 ~ 5.70t, high magnesium ash 4.00 ~ 5.50t, composite dephosphorization agent 1.5 ~ 2.0t, the composite after hot metal dephosphorization agent Join with scrap G. When the slag is formed, the first batch of slag is added with 3.0t of lime, 1.0-2.0t of high-magnesium ash, and 1.0t of composite slag. The remaining part of the slag is added in batches after the initial slag is formed, and then subjected to subsequent smelting.

The experimental results show that the dephosphorization rate of the new converter pretreatment by single slag dephosphorization can reach 89.40%, which is equivalent to the double slag dephosphorization technology, and can achieve the finished P content ≤0.015%, without the need for secondary slagging. And increase the amount of slag, which is beneficial to reduce heat loss of the converter, shorten the smelting cycle, and create favorable conditions for the matching between the converter and the continuous casting machine.
