New home for Frankfort FPD engine

The Staton House Fire and Rescue Department, Inc. is proud to house a former Frankfort Fire Protection District (FPD) 2008 Pierce Arrow XT pumper, which was originally stationed in Illinois. This unit was sold in February 2016 and has since found a new home with the Staton House team, where it continues to serve the community with reliability and dedication. This fire truck, now known as Engine 1403, has a rich history and represents the legacy of the Frankfort FPD. It's always interesting to see how these units are repurposed and continue their service under new names and jurisdictions. The Staton House Fire and Rescue Department has done a great job integrating this piece of firefighting history into their fleet. You can view photos of Engine 1403 below, showcasing its current condition and the pride that comes with operating such a well-maintained apparatus. These images give a glimpse into the work that goes on behind the scenes at the station. It's people like him who make it possible to preserve and share the stories behind these important emergency response vehicles.
