Lanzhou Petrochemical Company's 80,000 tons/year acrylic acid and 100,000 tons/year acrylate project has a total investment of 1.16 billion yuan and covers an area of ​​8 hectares. The device started construction in February 2006 and was completed and put into operation in May 2008. The designed production capacity is an annual output of 80,000 tons of acrylic acid, 10,000 tons of methyl ester, 10,000 tons of ethyl ester and 80,000 tons of butyl ester. This device is the first domestic 80,000-ton-per-year acrylic acid production facility built with domestic technology and the first ethyl acrylate production facility in western China. Ethyl acrylate is an important raw material and intermediate for organic chemicals. It can react with various compounds to synthesize a series of ethyl acrylate homopolymers and copolymers. It is widely used in water-absorbent resins, detergents, water treatment agents and adhesives. , coatings, plastics, textiles, paper and many other fields.
Acrylic acid plants produce four products: acrylic acid, methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, and butyl acrylate. Among them, methyl acrylate and ethyl ester are produced by switching operations on the same device. Due to the small proportion of ethyl acrylate and alkyd, the reaction is not easy to carry out, resulting in a large amount of system circulation, and at the same time, the characteristics of easy condensability of materials in winter have brought great difficulties to driving. Lanzhou Petrochemical made a lot of preparatory work for the driving of Acrylic Ester, successively carried out revision and perfection of driving operation card and personnel training, and carried out strict cleaning and vacuum and leak tests on the system, so that the driving conditions were confirmed step by step, and the unit was 11 On the 10th of the month, the temperature of the esterification reactor was increased. After a dozen hours of temperature increase, the reaction system reached the technical specifications. On November 12th, fresh acrylic acid and ethanol were started to react. With the passage of reaction time, the device operators carefully mediate, and the parameters gradually reached the technical indicators. The entire process of the entire unit was successfully completed. On November 13, a qualified ethyl acrylate was produced and the drive was successful once.
