Up to now, the 380-kilowatt-hour high-speed EMU loaded with the cold-wheel gearbox of Qishuyan of CSR has safely operated over 50,000 km on the Harbin-Dalian High Speed ​​Rail. The high-speed railway gear box is composed of gear, box, bearing and lubrication mechanism. It is the power transmission device of high speed train. It is responsible for transmitting the motor power to the train and enabling the train to run at high speed. It is one of the core components of the high speed train. In general, a gear with a line speed of more than 25 meters per second can be called a high speed gearbox. As the train speed increases from 200 km to 380 km / h, the linear speed of the driven gear jumped from 35 meters per second to 70 meters per second. Such a high speed, the performance of the gear itself, the meshing gear, the box sealed and reliable, have proposed a great challenge. The Harbin-Dalian high-speed railway is also the world's first high-speed railway operating in the alpine region. The extreme minimum temperature in winter is minus 40 ° C and the maximum snow thickness is 30 cm. The maximum frozen depth of soil along the route is 205 cm. In this alpine environment, the stable application of the high-speed train gearbox is also a challenge. In response to the harsh operating environment, Qishuyan of CSR conducted a special optimization design on the gearboxes of the Alpine EMUs. The targeted design optimization was carried out on the box, gear materials, bearing configuration and bearing selection, lubrication and sealing, etc. And simulation analysis, the product has passed the bench test validation, the railway company program review and technical review, and finally approved the cold line loading assessment.
