Analysis of Fault Diagnosis of Portable Diesel Generator Set Fuel System

The fuel system of a diesel generator set is operated at a high temperature and high pressure for a long period of time, so that various problems and failures inevitably occur. According to the experience of Ito Power's actual troubleshooting over the years, the common failures and causes of the diesel generator fuel system are summarized below.
First, low-pressure oil leakage (using the drip method, if the oil meets the requirements, then the low-pressure oil leakage, should check the following components):
(1) Oil pump inlet pipe; (2) Diesel filter (diesel power is insufficient, first check and clean filter element); (3) Diesel filter oil inlet pipe, (4) Hand oil pump (the most problem occurs here); (5 ) Tank vents (for air exhaust, see if blocked); (6) Tanks (oil tank suction pipes are welded on the tank, the weld cracks or pinholes will cause air to leak into the fuel system, which is often often Ignore).
Second, governor failure (manufacturer has adjusted, anyone can not move)
Third, the smoke limiter failure (the impact of diesel engine performance components, manufacturers have adjusted well, no one can not move, otherwise it will affect the diesel generator power and exhaust smoke)
The smoke limiter disposed on the smoke limiter utilizes the air pressure in the intake pipe to adjust the air-fuel ratio to achieve the purpose of controlling the smoke degree. Damage to the smoke limiter can result in insufficient power and increased smoke emissions. If the air intake pipe to the smoke limiter air leakage or blockage will also cause power to reduce and increase smoke.
If the vacuum tube on the smoke limiter breaks, it will cause the diesel engine power to drop.
Fourth, the diesel engine diesel engine low idle adjustment screw can be adjusted (if the low idle speed is too low, the engine will make the car at idle speed), be sure to note: high idle adjustment screws can not be free to move, otherwise it will cause the engine speed.
Fifth, if you want to judge which cylinder is not working, you can use the broken cylinder method to check. After determining which cylinder, remove the faulty injector and perform a test. At the same time, check whether the injector is equipped with a sealed copper gasket. At the same time, check whether the injector is faulty and can be tested outside the engine.
6. Oil return (The condition of the oil return of the diesel engine can be checked under the condition of rated speed to determine if there is any problem with the oil circuit).
